Privacy Policy — Sajda

Sajda (“the app”, formerly Sunni Namaz), on Android and iOS, is developed by Almas Apps (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. In short: the app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It is designed to work entirely offline.

Information we collect

None. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. It contains no third-party tracking SDKs, and it makes no network requests of its own.

Location

The app uses your device’s location only on your device to calculate accurate prayer times, the Hijri date and the Qibla direction. Your location is never collected, stored on our servers, or transmitted anywhere. You may also choose a city or enter coordinates manually and leave location access off entirely.

Reminders and sounds

Prayer reminders are scheduled by your device’s own notification system; nothing is sent through a server. On iOS, if you choose an audio file for the prayer sound, a shortened copy is kept inside the app on your device and is never uploaded.

Purchases

Android. The app offers an optional Pro upgrade, as a yearly subscription or a one-time purchase, processed entirely by Google Play under Google’s Privacy Policy.

iOS. The app offers Pro (widgets, a prayer sound and extra colour palettes) as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time purchase, processed entirely by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your Apple Account settings.

On both platforms we never see or store your card number, name or payment details; we only receive anonymized sales and payout reports from the store. Prayer times, Qibla, reminders, the Hijri calendar and everything that decides them stay free.

Permissions we request

Android

• Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) — to compute prayer times and Qibla on your device. Optional; manual entry is supported.
• Billing (com.android.vending.BILLING) — added by Google Play Billing so the optional Pro purchase can be processed by the Play Store.

The Android app does not request Internet access.

iOS

• Location (while using the app) — to compute prayer times and Qibla on your device. Optional; manual entry is supported.
• Notifications — for prayer reminders, only if you turn them on.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
