Arcana (“the app”), on iPhone, is developed by Almas Apps LLC (“we”, “us”). In short: Arcana collects nothing. It has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your progress stays on your iPhone.
To teach you, Arcana keeps a record of your practice: which spells (techniques) you have learned, when each is next due for review, your rank trials, your streak, your best duel scores, your daily goal, and how many problems you have answered. This record is stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. We never receive it. It may be included in your device's own iCloud or computer backups, which Apple's policies govern.
You can delete it at any time from Settings → Reset all progress, and deleting the app removes it entirely.
None. Arcana makes no network requests of its own and contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking software. We do not know who uses the app.
Arcana Pro is an optional purchase, sold through Apple's App Store under Apple's Privacy Policy. Apple handles payment; we never see your name, email or card details. The app asks the App Store only whether Arcana Pro is active on your Apple Account, to unlock what it includes. We receive anonymised sales reports from Apple. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your Apple Account settings.
If you turn on the daily reminder, Arcana asks iOS for permission to show notifications. Reminders are scheduled on your device by iOS itself; nothing is sent to a server. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings.
If you share a duel score, the app makes an image on your device and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes is up to you and the app you choose.
Arcana is suitable for all ages, and families often use it together. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. Purchases go through Apple, whose parental controls (such as Ask to Buy) apply.
